The 9V Lithium Manganese Dioxide Battery from our own brand RS PRO is well suited for use in smoke detectors, medical instruments and security devices.

The lithium technology used in the battery offers a shelf life greater than 10 years with little loss of performance. It also offers superior performance to alkaline 9V, providing 50% more energy. Depending on use and device cut-off voltage this Lithium Manganese Dioxide can offer up to five times the capacity of alkaline 9V.
